Hitachi Chrome Electric Starter Kit
Your existing clutch drum must have starter ring gear attached. Kick and electric start sprocket cover must be used if kick starter is to be retained. Battery and strap are not included. On 1979-80 XL the battery box is incorporated into the oil tank.
Tech Notes: Suggested to use with #40-0400 side mount oil tank when fitting to 1971-1980 models.
