Bobbed 5.0 Gallon Gas Tank Set

Tank set accepts stock dash and speedometer and accepts a bayonet type gas cap. Order cap set and petcock separately. All tanks or tank set will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. The top front of the mount to the rear measures 13-3/4 inch and the lower front mount to rear is 13-1/2 inch. Check the tank for flwas or fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit clean condition and sesal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared ot hte actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
