Bobbed 5.0 Gallon Gas Tank Set

Tank set will accept: stock dash stock speedometer and gas caps. Features welded on emblem mounts which are 1/2 inch lower than on replica tanks to accept 1966-72 style emblems. Mounts measure 6-5/8 inch center to center. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting for correct dash alignment and fuel line fitment. Dash will need to be shimmed to achieve correct height during installation. It is suggested to clean inside pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using a Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal in order to prevent leaking and corrosion. Order gas cap set tank emblems and petcock. Gas tank does not have holes on the left side to accept shift gate. *Note: Carefully check the tank for flaws and fit before painting! Do not grind or sand the joints. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.

Tech Notes: Suggested to use #38-6682 emblem set. Suggested to use #37-8825 emblem mount screws. Suggested to use with #35-9190 Petcock Straight Outlet with Nut Alloy. Suggested to use with #38-0312 Stock Style Gas Cap Set Vented and Non-Vented.
