Fat Bob Gas Tank Set 3.5 Gallon

Tank set features handshift mounts and shut off rod provision. Order shut off rod and seat kit separately. Mount strips are welded to each side to attach emblems and stainless trim. Tank emblem mount screws not included. Order emblems and trim separately. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly. Check the tank for flaws or fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check shutoff opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height.

Tech Notes: Suggested to use with #41-0113 Kreem Gas Tank Combo Kit. Suggested to use #9893-18 gas tank mount kit. Suggested to use #38-0310 or #38-7004 gas caps. Suggested to use #49-0076 shift gate for 4-speed transmissions. Suggested to use #49-0073 shift gate for 3-speed transmissions. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversizeinch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
