Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set
Tank emblem mount screws not included. Tank requires sanding and primer prior to painting. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. The 1957-1958 emblem mounts are welded on. Order emblem set separately accepts round World's Fair emblems or the plastic 1957-1958 Eagle Iron emblems. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to five correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
Tech Notes: Suggested to use #38-6697 emblems for 1957. Suggested to use #38-6698 emblems for 1958. Suggested to use #37-8879 emblem mount screws. Suggested to use #41-0113 Kreem gas tank combo kit.
