Fat Bob Gas Tank Set 3.5 Gallon

Tank emblem mount screws not included. Tank features indents for shifter gate and has a welded on shifter handle tab. Check the shut off opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during the painting for easy installation of shut off valve. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
Tech Notes: Suggested to use #41-0113 Kreem gas tank combo kit. Suggested to use #38-0310 or #38-7004 gas caps. Suggested to use #49-0075 shift gate for 4-speed transmissio n. Suggested to use #49-0111 shift gate for 3-speed transmissio n. Features updated design to match OEM shape and contours.
