Replica 5.0 Gallon Bobbed Gas Tank Set

Sold as a two piece set. Petcock hole is 3/8 inch NPT to accept a male petcock. The tank is equipped with a bayonet style cap bung. Tank requires sanding and primer before painting. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Order cap set and petcock separately. It is suggested to pressure test the tank and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height.

Tech Notes: Suggested to use #41-0113 Kreem gas tank combo kit. Suggested to use #38-6682 emblem set. Suggested to use #38-0111 weld on type emblem mount strips. Suggested to use #38-7042 self adhesive type emblem mount strips. Suggested to use with #35-0555 Petcock Straight Outlet Natural Alloy.
